Account Manager (New Business + Existing Clients)
Location: Hindmarsh | Salary: Base + Super + Uncapped Commissions | Immediate Start
We are seeking a driven Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of small–medium business customers while acquiring new opportunities across our Optus and ICT Managed Services offerings.
This hybrid role suits someone who enjoys nurturing relationships, identifying needs, and closing new business.
As South Australia's largest Optus Business Centre and a leading ICT Managed Service Provider, Spacetel delivers mobility, internet, cloud voice, cybersecurity, and managed services to organisations across the state.
You will be part of a high-performing team supported by strong brand presence, internal lead generation, and technical expertise.
What You'll Be Doing
Account Management & Retention
Manage a portfolio of existing SMB/SME customers
Conduct regular check-ins and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
Renew contracts, manage rate-plan reviews, and ensure high customer satisfaction
Build long-term relationships with decision makers
New Business Acquisition
Prospect warm and cold leads provided by our internal systems
Secure appointments, conduct discovery, build proposals, and close deals
Represent Spacetel at business events, networking groups, and meetings
Promote Optus mobility, internet, cloud voice, ICT Managed Services, and cybersecurity solutions
Maintain accurate CRM activity
Prepare quotes and follow structured sales processes
Collaborate with our technical and operations teams to deliver client outcomes
What We're Looking For
This role requires a sharp sales operator with strong commercial acumen and an understanding of telco or IT services.
You Have:
Sales experience in telco, IT, SaaS, or B2B preferred
Strong account management and relationship-building skills
Confident presenting proposals and closing opportunities
Professional, reliable, and driven to achieve targets
Strong communication and organisation skills
