Job Opportunity: Garage Door Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Garage Door Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining garage doors for homes and businesses.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid 'C' Class License is also required.
In this role, you will be expected to:
* Install and service various types of garage doors and openers
* Perform routine maintenance checks and address any issues promptly
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance needs
* Assist with stock loading/unloading of spare parts and/or doors in warehouse
* Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organized workspace
A pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol screening, will be conducted prior to commencement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Experience in garage door service, construction, mechanical repair, or a related field (desired but not essential)
* Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
* Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
* A White Construction Card or the ability to obtain one
