**Schedule**:This is a full time role working in a Laboratry that operates 24/7. It is not expected this role will work a 24/7 roster however you may be required on some occassions to ensure continuous service.

**About the role**
- This is an exciting leadership opportunity for the position of Laboratory Manager - Peel Health Campus, Mandurah. We are seeking someone who is highly We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Manage a hospital laboratory with Medical Scientists and Laboratory Assistants in a multidisciplinary setting (Biochemistry, Haematology, Coagulation, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology)
- Responsible for the financial and operational results for the laboratory
- Perform some laboratory work as part of your duties
- Prioritise workflow to meet client's requirements
- Ensure results are released within agreed turnaround times
- Responsible for maintaining successful NATA accreditation
- Ensure WHS and Quality compliance

**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:

- Tertiary Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
- At least three years experience in a multidisciplinary laboratory enviroment
- Strong time management, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- The ability to cope and thrive in a busy environment and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work within a team and under pressure
