Home Care Support Worker
Description of the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to provide in-home support to clients in Sydney and surrounding areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, personal grooming & hygiene assistance, medication reminders, food shopping, menu planning, meal preparation, and mobility assistance within the home and local community.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality care and support to clients, prioritizing their well-being at all times.
* Provide companionship and engage with clients to promote their social and emotional well-being.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
* Experience working in a care environment, preferably in a similar role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
* Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
