The Opportunity
Samsung Electronics Australia is looking for a National Account Manager to achieve budgeted sales objectives for Memory products sold through "Harvey Norman, JB HiFi, Officeworks, Bing Lee and TGG".
Role and Responsibilities
- Sales: Develop sales plans for Sell In and Sell Out and coordinate marketing programs with key accounts within the context of top-line corporate strategy.
- Planning: Drive and oversee Quarterly Business Planning and annual Joint Business Plan with manager, HOD, Product Marketing and cross functional engagement with Marcoms and Retail management teams.
- Key Account Investments: Responsible for Account Net sales result and managing account investment, optimizing ROI and alignment with top-line business objectives.
- Forecasting and CPFR: Responsible for creation of and updating of the account forecast [CPFR] performance and coordination with retailer and supply chain management team to ensure optimal forecast fulfilment, channel inventory level and long term outlook and Sales forecast.
- Field Priorities: Set account priorities and direction for State managers and field team to ensure in store execution of retail strategy and promotional activities.
- Offline & Online Promotional plans: Secure visibility to retailer promotional plan / execute coverage of Samsung digital promotions and events on retailer website.
- Furthermore: Relationship building, market analysis, training, product knowledge, process improvement, and policy compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
Samsung Electronics Australia is looking for a thriving individual with a "can do" attitude and proactive approach. Relevant experience / skills include:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the consumer electronics industry
- Proven account management experience
- Proven ability to achieve specific product sales targets
- Previous experience in building and maintaining customer satisfaction through the development of broad customer relationships, including senior management contact
- Consultative and influential selling style with an ability to sell technical products
