In this role, you will be applying your platform management and stakeholder management skills to a multi-role team of five senior and two junior platform engineers to oversee delivery of secret management solutions to a GCP platform. A willingness and ability to delegate major pieces of work to senior members of the team while retaining visibility is essential. What You Offer Strong Team Management Skills, Including Experience managing teams of 5-10 engineers with diverse skill levels (senior and junior) Demonstrated success in building high-performing, collaborative team cultures Track record of developing individual career progression plans and conducting meaningful performance reviews Experience managing remote and hybrid teams across multiple locations Proven ability to recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent in competitive markets Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Strong experience in Platform Management enabling cloud services for consumption by application teams, including: Experience in maintaining platform quality and adhering to platform objectives Proven ability to balance feature delivery with technical debt reduction and platform stability Experience with capacity planning and resource allocation for platform teams Ability to establish and track meaningful engineering metrics (DORA metrics, SLIs/SLOs etc) Technical Skills Experience with two or more major programming languages, such as Golang, C/C++, Java, Rust, or similar.
