Plan and execute data migration of Oracle databases from on prem to AWS Cloud platform (incl SaaS, PaaS and IaaS) including:
Demonstrating knowledge surrounding AWS Cloud platform and tools.
Providing advice on best practice.
Working with other DBAs to execute the migration.
Using agile methodologies.
Documenting solutions.
Work with application project teams to provide expert advice and problem resolution support focused around Cloud hosted databases including:
Gathering requirements.
Troubleshooting and provide advice.
Suggesting mitigation strategies and execute changes.
Using agile methodologies.
Documenting solutions.
Work within a team of infrastructure specialists to develop a medium to long range plan surrounding database hosting and support including:
Participating in technical conversations representing database.
Providing skilled advice and recommendations.
Using agile methodologies.
Documenting solutions.
Provide ongoing support and administration for Cloud hosted databases.
Preferred Technical Knowledge:
Cloud computing (AWS)
Preferred SFIA level is EL1 equivalent.
