Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, performance standards and specifications.

* Prepare programs, reports, and contract notices (Variations & EOTs)

* Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.

* Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent Killard in the field

* Preparing all required HSEQ information prior to projects starting and onboarding all personnel.

* Cooperate and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other project participants to aid and technical support.

* Determine the requirements for extra machinery or external contractors like traffic controllers or civil dig contractors, and provide them with a traffic control plan, property service plans, dials for the digs from utilities,a WHS management plan, and an Environment management plan.

* Engagement of suppliers and subcontractors, including obtaining a minimum of three quotes to compare and engage the best option for the business

* Issuing contract notices to the client, including Variations & Extension of Times

* Practice well-established methods to record the day-to-day progress for different projects and present the project progress report at weekly reporting meetings in the form of actuals, sales and WIP (Work in Progress) reports.

* Identify and record any variations in work from the actual contract given by the client. Provide the variation letter to the client and submit variations in accordance with the contract and on progress claims.

* Identify and record any delays caused by the client and outside of Killard’s control that require an Extension of Time (EOT) to be issued to the client. Provide Program updates showing these delays and the claimed EOTs.

What We’re Looking For:

* The Senior Project Engineer with 4-7years of Water industry experience (min. 2 years in Australia).

* Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related field (Engineering degree required).

* Preparation of three-week look-ahead programs on Microsoft Excel

* Assistance and preparation of Construction Programs on MS Project

* Monitor Profit & Loss and preparation of monthly commercial reports

* Ensure compliance with WHS/OHS and environmental standards
