This role provides high-level support to the Professor of Indigenous Education and Academic Director, overseeing administrative functions and managing their schedule.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and executive support to the Professor, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and arranging travel.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Professor of Indigenous Education.
* Administer financial transactions and reconcile credit card accounts in accordance with policy.
* Draft correspondence, reports, and other materials.
* Develop and provide specialized reports, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
* Work proactively to develop networks and liaise with internal and external personnel.
* Lead the academic administration function for the unit and provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
* Demonstrated high-level administrative skills, including experience providing executive assistance to senior staff.
* Proven ability to work independently, manage financial transactions, and handle a busy workload with excellent organizational skills.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively consult, negotiate, and liaise with diverse groups.
* Demonstrated understanding of Indigenous protocols when working with respected Indigenous peoples, knowledge holders, and communities.
* Sound knowledge of university organisational structures and corporate systems, or a capacity to quickly acquire this knowledge.
