About Asset Worx
Owned and operated in the southwest of WA, Asset Worx has evolved from a critical need in Western Australia's infrastructure sector in the provision of vital maintenance and servicing of the region's extensive network.
We have a unique emphasis on structures, such as bridges, and leverage our expertise in timber, concrete and steel to maximise the serviceable life of these critical assets. Asset Worx is more than a company; we're a team committed to excellence.
About the Role
This is not your typical "admin" Project Coordinator role.
You'll sit at the centre of our operations - owning scheduling, procurement, and project setup to ensure our construction team can deliver efficiently, safely, and profitably.
You'll work closely with the General Manager, Supervisor, and Estimator to keep projects moving, solve problems early, and maintain control across multiple jobs.
If you enjoy being organised, staying one step ahead, and making things run smoothly - this role is for you.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Project Scheduling
* Build and manage project schedules in SIMPRO
* Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment across multiple jobs
* Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts before they impact delivery
Procurement
* Source and manage materials in line with project budgets and timelines
* Work with suppliers to maximise value, reliability, and performance
* Track procurement against project programmes
Project Coordination
* Set up projects in Asset Engine
* Prepare detailed job packs for site teams
* Ensure all documentation, scope, and requirements are clear before work begins
Stock & Materials Management
* Manage WIP allocation and stock movements
* Maintain accurate stock records and oversee stocktakes
* Ensure warehouse is organised, efficient, and safe
Commercial & Reporting Support
* Assist with project invoicing and cost tracking
* Support accurate WIP and project profitability reporting
* Ensure project close-out documentation is complete
HSEQ Support
* Coordinate safety and environmental documentation
* Support a strong, proactive safety culture across projects
What We're Looking For
You're someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and takes ownership of getting things done.
You'll likely bring:
* Experience in construction, maintenance, or project-based environments
* Strong organisational and planning skills
* High attention to detail and systems discipline
* Confidence working across scheduling, procurement, and coordination
* Strong communication skills with both site teams and suppliers
* Experience with systems like SIMPRO (highly regarded)
Most importantly—you're proactive, reliable, and commercially aware.
Why Join Asset Worx?
* Be part of a growing, high-performing WA business
* Work closely with experienced leadership and decision-makers
* Play a key role in how projects are delivered—not just support from the sidelines
* Diverse and interesting infrastructure projects
* Strong team culture with a practical, no-nonsense approach
