Overview
Administration Officer Level 2 – Hunter New England Local Health District
Location: Cessnock Hospital. Hours: 38 hours per week. Employment type: Temporary Full Time to September 2026. Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 2. Remuneration: $64,046.06 - $66,170.25 p.a. + Superannuation + Salary Packaging. Closing Date: Sunday, 12th October 2025. Interviews will be held on Friday 17th October.
Responsibilities
Registering patients and maintaining accurate data entry
Coordinating patient discharges
Supporting nursing staff with administrative duties
Providing friendly, professional customer service to patients, families, and staff
What We Are Looking For
Organised, proactive, and eager to learn
Ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a busy environment
Work well independently and as part of a team with strong customer service skills
Experience in healthcare administration is a plus, but transferable skills from customer service are welcome
Available to work Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm (some flexibility available)
