From humble beginning over 40 years ago, we have grown into the largest community owned organisation in the Northern Rivers that provides a range of care, welfare, and education services. Northern Rivers In Home Care is an approved child care provider. We are a not for profit In Home Care Child Care Service servicing the Northern Rivers area and Gold Coast.**_
We have a professional shift working family in Coomera that is looking for a caring and qualified Educator to care for two children ages 9 and 10 years old. We are looking for a passionate Educator that is reliable, flexible. School drop off is required so a drivers license and car is essential.
**Overview of family**:
IHC is required as both parents work non-standard hours.
**Days and Hours**:
The role is for flexible care but an example of a roster could be;
Hours are 5am to 8.30am school drop off
Days required Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday may vary week to week

$35.00 per hour includes Superannuation
**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with the family and children
- School drop off
**Northern Rivers IHC does not charge new or existing IHC Educators any registration fees. However, we do provide Educators with outstanding support, with many services and materials free of charge, including**:
- _All relevant and necessary information to fulfill their role as an IHC Educator._
- _Regular visits from an IHC Manager who is qualified to assist them with all aspects of the care and education of young children_
- _Newsletters, forms, checklists, policies, procedures, and resource ideas to assist them in their role as an Educator_
- _Exciting and information playgroup sessions as well as access to an extensive range of toys and resources from our free toy library_
- _Processing of weekly attendance records and deposit of CCS payments electronically into their bank account_
- _Harmony Web Training_
- _Access to free professional development_
**Prerequisites for all In Home Care Roles**:
- _**Certificate III in Children's Services or working towards (min 2 years experience)**_
- _**Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate - Childcare First Aid Training HLTAID0011 and HLTAID009**_
- _**Blue Card and Police Clearance**_
- _**Liability insurance (once successfully placed with a family approx. $43.00 per month)**_
- _**Medical Clearance**_
- _**Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)**_
- _**ABN (this role is for a self employed/contractor)**_
- _**Photo ID**_
- _**PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)**_
- **MUST HAVE A RELIABLE CAR AND DRIVERS LICENCE**
