Perigon Group is proud to be exclusively partnering with Alpha HPA, an ASX-listed leader in the critical minerals sector. Alpha produces high-purity aluminium products essential to the global battery and semiconductor supply chain - industries experiencing structural, long-term growth.
With its Stage 2, 10tpa commercial facility in Gladstone approaching ramp-up, the business is entering a pivotal operational phase. To support this transition from project mode to steady-state production, a newly created Finance Business Partner role has been established.
The Opportunity
As Finance Business Partner, you will sit within finance and partner the Gladstone Operations leadership team, playing a central role in preparing the site for commercial production. You will design and embed the financial foundations of a $600m+ manufacturing facility - from ERP master data to cost models, budgeting frameworks and operational dashboards
You will partner closely with Operations, Project Readiness and Group Finance to ensure financial discipline, system integrity and commercially informed decision-making are built in from day one.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role where your work will directly shape profitability, process efficiency and long-term scalability.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead financial readiness for Alpha's Stage 2 facility, embedding robust systems, master data and cost structures
* Build and refine inventory, standard costing and fixed asset frameworks within ERP
* Develop budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability to support site operations
* Partner with operational leaders to deliver meaningful, insight-driven reporting (Power BI)
* Design and implement scalable financial processes to support manufacturing growth
* Act as the trusted finance partner to Gladstone Operations, driving financial discipline and commercial decision-making
* Support the transition from project phase to steady-state production
About You
You are commercially minded, systems-oriented and comfortable working close to operations.
You likely bring:
* CA / CPA qualification
* Strong modelling, budgeting and forecasting capability
* Experience establishing financial processes or operating in transformation environments
* Exposure to manufacturing, cost accounting, inventory or capital-intensive environments (highly regarded)
* Strong Power BI capability and comfort with digital tools
* The ability to operate autonomously while influencing senior stakeholders
This role requires someone who enjoys building from the ground up - not inheriting a finished structure.
