Key Responsibilities:
* Operate A-Double combinations efficiently.
* Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.
* Maintain timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, adhering to schedules.
* Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
* Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
* Adhere to load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
* A range of shifts available, including AM & PM.
Requirements:
* A valid MC Licence with 2 years Australian driving experience.
* Experience in bulk haulage.
* Sound knowledge of the VIC metro & regional area.
* Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
* Complete our Practical Driver Assessment.
* Excellent communication, time management skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
* A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
* BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
* Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
