Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager - This Business Development Manager role will focus on maintaining and growing current customers across the foodservice channel, specifically Mackay and surrounds region. Generating new business, building brand equity by selling from a 'quality' stance and actively promoting the company's full range of products will be underpinned by a level of autonomy and responsibility that truly allows you to develop and implement strategies that increase account sales volumes, revenue, and profitability goals.
Ideally you are currently managing a successful territory focussed on driving business through the foodservice channel and you are skilled in selling food products. With a genuine passion to impact the commercial strategies of a significant business you are capable of making sound decisions and are renowned for your tenacity in 'closing the deal' and for building strong relationships with your customers. These have ideally been built and sustained because you have a genuine passion for food and are constantly looking out for new trends and identifying with your customers on this level.

Understandably an attractive remuneration that includes base salary, super, FMCV and bonus opportunity will be offered to the successful candidate. For interstate or intercity / town based candidates, a relocation package will be offered as well.
