You will support the development of Manufacturing Business Unit by actively seeking and delivering continuous improvement in line with business goals and expectations. Investigate and analyse relevant data and trends and utilise organizational tools and resources to improve performance and develop capabilities of all team members.How you will contributePartner with the Manufacturing Business units to improve production outputs, material usage and waste management. Timely and accurate reporting, investigation of department variances and problem solving.Champion the understanding and use of key Focus Improvement project metrics and associated tools that are required for problem solving, process analysis, and waste reduction.Champion the use of the Focus Improvement planning tools on site and train key Operation team members.Support on Business Development key project initiatives and implement plans and project governance meetings.In conjunction with Area Lead ensure the right culture to drive the Focus Improvement mentality is in place. Advise and assist the Operations team to enable a productive and flexible site through developing the right skills for lean manufacturing agenda.Share and promote FI accomplishments across the Department acting as the conduit to bring best practice learnings to the site.What you will bringA desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:Relevant engineering experience, ideally within a fast-moving consumer goods environment.Ideally experience with Implementation of Focus improvement initiatives.Prioritizing and managing activities.Identifying problems proactively and creating and implementing solutions.Understanding of internal customer needs and interdependencies.Communicating technical information effectively verbally and in writing.Technical curiosity, continuous learner and a drive to ensure technical rigor.Strong project management skills.Training & facilitating a concept/idea.Good inter-personal skills/stakeholder management on all levels.Ability to motivate and influence others (energise people).Education/Qualifications:Qualifications in Management, Engineering or a related discipline are desirable.Certificate IV in training and assessment is desirable.More about this role12-month contract opportunityBenefits:By joining our Site team, you will enjoy an inclusive, diverse culture with a company who are dedicated to making a difference.
