Overview


The Department of Education, Western Australia, is seeking a Project Support Officer in Swimming and Water Safety. This is a fixed-term, full-time position commencing as soon as possible up until June 2026. As of Monday, 1 September at 3:10pm there has been an amendment to the closing date.


The Role


As the Project Support Officer you should support the Manager and Senior Project Officer, to progress strategic projects to achieve the successful delivery of swimming and water safety education.

You will work collaboratively in a dynamic environment to support strategic initiatives. This includes assisting with the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of projects and strategies related to Swimming and Water Safety.

We are looking for someone with initiative, well developed organisational and communication skills who can provide advice and support to ensure a highly responsive level of customer service. Well-developed presentation skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels are essential for the position.

Eligibility


To work with us, you must:

* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
