Bim manager

Port Fairy
Creature Technology Co.

Offer description

Overview

We\'re looking for a BIM Manager to lead spatial coordination for our animatronic installations at major theme parks and entertainment venues.

You\'ll be CTC\'s key point of contact for BIM across live project environments, working across internal engineering teams and external stakeholders to keep complex builds on track.

A little about the role

Creature Technology\'s animatronic creatures are large, complex physical systems — they need structural support, power, cooling, and precise spatial allocation within the broader built environment of a theme park or theatre venue. The BIM Manager makes sure all of that is coordinated correctly.

In this role, you\'ll manage CTC\'s BIM coordination across active projects: monitoring live development environments, identifying and resolving spatial clashes, and acting as the primary point of contact for BIM-related communication with clients, general contractors, and design consultants.

You\'ll administer CTC\'s Revit environment and manage data workflows through the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), while working closely with our Engineering and Digital teams to ensure internal models are correctly prepared and integrated. When coordination issues arise — and they will — you\'ll be the one driving them to resolution.

You could be the one if you...
* Manage BIM coordination across multiple active projects, acting as CTC's primary contact for all BIM-related communication with clients, contractors, and third-party consultants
* Monitor the live development environment in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), identifying spatial clashes and services conflicts and managing their resolution through structured workflows
* Represent CTC\'s physical assets — animatronic systems, supporting structures, cabinetry, and services — accurately within the BIM environment
* Negotiate and communicate solutions to coordination issues, working across CTC's engineering team and external stakeholders to reach practical outcomes
* Log, track, and manage issues in the BIM system, maintaining clear records and escalating to the RFI process when needed
* Administer and configure CTC's Revit environment: model setup, file management, and data workflows, aligned with client BIM standards
* Coordinate with CTC's Engineering and Digital teams to ensure internally produced 3D models are correctly integrated into the BIM environment
* Review and interpret construction drawings and civil works documentation to assess impacts on CTC's installations
* Manage data workflows through ACC, including model exchanges, version control, and access permissions
* Provide guidance to internal teams on BIM processes, standards, and requirements as they relate to CTC's project deliverables
Why CTC?

CTC are award-winning global leaders in creating awe-inspiring creatures that captivate the imagination of visitors at some of the world's most exciting visitor attractions, including Universal Parks in Orlando and Beijing, as well as ground-breaking theatre productions. We are an all-in-one manufacturing, software-design, puppet-making, engineering, artist\'s studio, and entertainment creation company.

Every day, you'll come to work to turn our mission of inspiring awe into reality. You'll collaborate with the industry's top designers, engineers, technicians, and artisans who work collaboratively to bring a creature to life for global audiences.
