About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Entry-Level Occupational Therapist to join our team providing high-quality, client-centered services across the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. This role is ideal for new graduates looking to develop strong clinical foundations with excellent supervision, training, and professional development opportunities.
You will work with NDIS participants and clients across diverse age groups and needs, delivering therapy that supports independence, functional skills, community participation, and improved quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional capacity assessments, home environment assessments, and therapeutic evaluations.
- Develop and implement personalised therapy plans aligned with clients' goals.
- Provide individual therapy addressing daily living skills, sensory needs, functional mobility, cognitive skills, and community access.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including Support Coordinators, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals, families, and carers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and reporting according to NDIS and organisational standards.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and career development activities.
- Deliver services in-clinic, at client homes, community settings, and via telehealth as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
- Current registration
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for client-centred, evidence-based practice in the community setting.
