Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the 'Courts Group'.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is the first level of the Victorian court system and is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria. It has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 locations, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role
Court Services Victoria (CSV) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Case Manager to join our Court Integrated Services Program (CISP) and Assessment & Referral Court (ARC) team. This role provides client centred, strengths based and solution focused case management support to individuals with complex psycho social needs who are engaged in CISP and the ARC List.
As a key member of the Court Support Services (CSS) team, you will contribute to improved client outcomes and may also be required to support other CSS programs or initiatives at Bendigo Law Courts or other locations as operational needs arise.
As an Advanced Case Manager, you will deliver intensive case management services to clients with complex needs—particularly those requiring mental health or disability support. You will undertake comprehensive assessments, develop individual support plans, coordinate treatment and support services, and provide risk management strategies tailored to client circumstances.
In addition, you will prepare high quality court reports, provide advice to the judiciary, and mentor case managers within the team. You will build strong relationships with external service providers and work collaboratively to improve client access to appropriate support pathways.

About you
To be considered for this position, you will possess the following:
* Tertiary qualification (minimum Diploma level; degree highly desirable) in a field relevant to case management with forensic clients—such as social work, psychology, welfare, alcohol and other drugs, or a related discipline—and/or equivalent relevant experience.
* Demonstrated experience or capability in case management for clients with complex needs, with well developed knowledge and/or experience in at least one of the following specialist areas (highly d esirable): mental health, acquired brain injury, disability, alcohol and other drugs, family violence, or homelessness.
* Experience or proven ability to provide coaching and mentoring to case managers, particularly in areas requiring advanced knowledge or expertise.
