Abelia Landscaping Services are seeking qualified or experienced landscapers to join our team based in Keilor Park. The position is suitable for someone with a trade (carpenter, concreter, bricklayer, tiler, stone mason) looking for a career change. **The Role**:
- Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers.
- Weeding, trimming, mowing, edging, pruning hedges and shrubs etc
- Conduct general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways, fixing fountains, and other duties.
- Uphold the landscaping design and ensure plant growth.
- Coordinate with garden designers and landscape architects to ensure the garden meets the client's expectations.
- Build retaining walls and garden beds
- Prepare and lay turf
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong communication skills with Team and Clients
- Landscaping experience or have completed a trade qualification
- Ability to tow a trailer
- Experience using power tools / operating machinery
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills
**Qualifications**:
- Qualifications in Landscape Construction or equivalent experience
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Manual drivers licence
- Chemical User Certificate, ACUP, or relevant training
- Machinery tickets if using machinery
Valid Police Check (Within 12 months)
