We’re seeking a Portable Fire Service Technician to maintain and service fire extinguishers, hose reels, and blankets across The Central Coast.
No trade qualification? No drama. What matters most is your hands‑on experience, reliability, and pride in doing the job right.
🧯 What You’ll Do
* Carry out routine inspections and testing to AS1851 for extinguishers, hose reels, and blankets.
* Perform minor maintenance and replacements; identify and quote defects.
* Accurately document findings and photos using our mobile system.
* Liaise professionally with customers; manage efficient daily routes across Sydney Metro.
* Collaborate with the operations team for scheduling, compliance reports, and parts.
💪 What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience servicing portable fire equipment — extinguishers, hose reels, fire blankets.
* Working knowledge of AS1851 routines for portables.
* Current driver’s licence and the ability to work independently and on-site with customers.
* Professional presentation, clear communication, and great attention to detail.
* Nice to have:
o FPAS accreditation (or working towards it)
o Experience with hydrants, alarms, or passive fire checks
