Casual Trainer and Assessor for SIA - Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
The Casual Trainer and Assessor role at MAX involves delivering courses starting from blended learning (online and face-to-face) with a focus on Rehabilitation and Reablement Support.
Position Details
* Delivering courses starting from March, April or May 2025 using blended learning (online and face-to-face).
* Course location in Ringwood on Fridays over approximately 11 months.
About the Role
We are seeking qualified Allied Health Workers or professionals in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Disability industries with training experience to facilitate our Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (HLT43021).
Responsibilities
* Deliver dynamic training and support students through their pathway including marking assignments.
* Conduct blended training (online and face-to-face).
* Support students during their 120 hours of industry work placement.
* Work with diverse student backgrounds maintaining compliance with training requirements.
* Deliver the course one day per week.
* This is a casual position paid per training day and assessment workload.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualifications and significant work experience in Allied Health or related fields.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or willingness to obtain it.
* Passion for training and motivating others.
* Ability to deliver engaging virtual training via Zoom.
* Excellent time management communication and IT skills.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
* Working with Children Check.
* Additional relevant qualifications are highly regarded.
