About the Role
As an Event Helper, you are the behind-the-scenes hero helping our group activities run smoothly. From setting up to pitching in wherever needed, you will help create seamless event days that our young people will remember.
This role involves:
* Assisting with logistics and event setup
* Supporting teens and mentors during activities
* Attending weekend camps and up to 4 events annually (all on weekends, 9am–3pm)
No long-term commitment is required, making this role perfect for those who love event coordination and supporting a cause.

Time Required: Mentor commitments include a weekend camp (March, Fri afternoon to Sunday early afternoon) and four Big Day Outs (one Saturday or Sunday, 9:30am–3:30pm, every two months) across a calendar year. Volunteers sign up for each event based on availability.
Training: Training is provided at the start of the calendar year, with ongoing support from our Training & Development and Volunteer portfolio, as well as the committee and fellow volunteers.
