About the Role
Working within the UTS Careers team, the Operations Assistant is the first point of contact for all phone and online enquiries and provides a range of administrative support in relation to procurement, invoicing, event and office administration.
This is a varied role where no day is like the one before. As well as general office administration tasks, the Operations Assistant will interact with all stakeholders - students, employers and faculty, providing accurate information in a professional and friendly manner. They'll have the opportunity to support a range of projects and initiatives, and work across the entire Careers team.
This role would suit a reliable, organised individual with a positive attitude who enjoys working on a variety of tasks.
The Operations Assistant reports directly to the Operations Manager. They are expected to work under general direction and are allocated tasks to complete.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivery of office administration and support.
* Providing exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for all phone and online enquiries.
* Assisting with set up, execution and evaluation of Careers events and initiatives.
* Ensuring procurement of products and services is in accordance with UTS policies and procedures.
* Processing and distribution of invoices using an online financial system.
* Providing accurate record keeping and report generation.
Key Selection Criteria
* High level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent computing skills, namely in MS Office software and databases.
* Ability to prioritise, organise and complete work within established deadlines, and to maintain a consistent level of professionalism.
* Positive attitude and a desire to go above and beyond to deliver high quality service.
* Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment, and to work unsupervised.
Salary and Benefits
Base Salary Range: $68,131 - $77,672 pa (HEW 3)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis until 4th July 2027.
