- 5+ years working in an operational role supporting complex ICT systems and services.
- Valuable understanding of Network Management Systems and related operational monitoring approaches.
- Experience mentoring and influencing team members and providing thought leadership within an engineering team.
- Experience working with incident management in an ICT context.
- Working knowledge of software engineering in an Infrastructure as Code context including version control, automation, IaaS, CI/CD and configuration management.
- Exposure to DevOps tooling such as GitLab, Artifactory, Ansible and Terraform.
- Awareness of Agile, Scrum and Kanban concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to identify technology gaps in current capabilities and processes.
- 5+ years of combined experience in application management, development, and DevSecOps.
- Exposure to VMware and ESXi.
- Experience working in Linux, Windows and Kubernetes environments.
- Proven ability to work independently, and within a multi-discipline team.
- Demonstrable experience proving a customer focus and passion for delivery.
- Excellent communications and client facing skills.
- Good knowledge of cloud-based providers, preferably AWS.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
