Job Description:
The role of Disability Support Worker is a part-time opportunity that involves working with individuals with disabilities to provide support and assistance in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing personal care and support to clients
* Assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Encouraging clients to participate in activities and exercises to promote independence and well-being
* Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 12 months experience in disability support work or a related field
* Relevant qualifications such as Certificate III in Individual Support or Diploma of Community Services
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
