Job Description:
Making an impact in people's lives includes undertaking assessments, developing rehabilitation plans, designing intervention programs, identifying barriers, and empowering clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
* Undertake assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments.
* Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
* Design and implement intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
* Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
* Understand healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
* Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
You'll need:
* Australian recognised degree qualification in Exercise Physiology and full ESSA Accreditation.
* The ability to learn and positively impact people's lives in tangible ways.
* Engagement skills to involve clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
* A commitment to high-level customer service.
* A willingness to work in the community (must have a driver's license and access to own vehicle).
* Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
