Role Description
Travel Designer – Belrose, NSW (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Join our vibrant team in Belrose as an experienced Retail Travel Consultant. We’re flexible for the right candidate—full-time or part-time—with one Saturday shift every 4 weeks (9am–1pm).
About the Role
As a Travel Designer, you’ll craft bespoke itineraries and sell from brochures for a diverse clientele—from young families to retirees. You’ll manage end-to-end travel experiences, including consultations, itinerary planning, reservations, and supplier coordination, ensuring exceptional service every time.

Location: On-site in Belrose, NSW

Responsibilities
- Research and explore travel destinations, including prices, customs, weather, and reviews
- Understand clients’ specifications and wishes to suggest suitable travel options
- Plan and organize travel itineraries, including booking tickets, accommodation, and transportation
- Provide clients with useful travel materials such as guides, maps, and event programs
- Collect deposits balances, and manage payment processes
- Promote additional services and offerings
- Stay updated on industry trends through webinars, conferences, and educational programs
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Assist other consultants as required
- Ensure all documentation and information relevant to bookings is accurate
- Meet regular sales targets and prioritize preferred products where possible
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a courteous, professional approach
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail travel consulting or a similar role
- Proven ability to design bespoke itineraries and manage complex travel arrangements
- Strong knowledge of global destinations, travel products, and suppliers
- Proficiency in GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) and booking platforms
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to meet sales targets and work within incentive structures
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work on-site in Belrose and commit to occasional Saturday shifts
- Passion for travel and commitment to ongoing industry learning (webinars, conferences, educational trips)
