provides quality water and wastewater services to 54 towns in North Central Victoria. Our core purpose is to deliver safe, reliable, and affordable water services to residential, commercial and industrial customers.
We are looking for a Water Treatment Operator to join the Southern Water Treatment team and play a role in ensuring the continuous supply of safe clean drinking water to our customers.
Perhaps you have some water industry experience, or you are someone who has the capability from existing relevant skills and experience to transition quickly into the role.
Based in Seymour you will work with the Corporation's Water Treatment Plants and facilities in our service areas including Nagambie, Euroa, Seymour, Broadford and Kilmore where you will be responsible for providing the community with safe and quality water.
In this role you will use modern technology and equipment to monitor and maintain water treatment systems. You'll be hands on with plant and mechanical operations while demonstrating a strong focus on safety requirements.
We develop and train our water industry operatives and will support you to achieve a nationally recognised water industry qualification that will grow your skills and assist you to confidently undertake the role.
