With over 50 years of experience, we are committed to delivering excellence and driving sustainable progress.Our Fredon Air VIC is looking for an experienced HVAC/Mechanical Project Manager to join our light commercial team in Heatherton.This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of HVAC and mechanical projects. You will work collaboratively with our clients and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects to the highest standards.What you'll be doingManage all aspects of HVAC and mechanical projects, from planning and scheduling to budgeting and quality control.Manage the financial performance of the project by actively monitoring all aspects of the project and ensuring procurement, productivity, and variation targets are met.Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.Oversee the work of technicians, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality workmanship.Identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.Prepare progress reports, documentation, and other project materials.Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.What we're looking forMinimum 5 years' experience as an HVAC/Mechanical Project Manager in the construction industry.Thorough understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex projects.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.Commercial acumen and financial management with the ability to manage budgets and analyse financial statements.Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures.Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC/Refrigeration, or a related field.What we offerFredon Air is committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
