Mandurah Glass Service is a well-established, locally owned business specialising in quality glass and glazing solutions. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Accounts & Payroll Officer to join our team.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of their responsibilities and values accuracy, consistency and accountability in their work.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the ongoing management of our payroll and accounts functions, including:
End-to-end processing of weekly payroll including superannuation and payroll tax (Tuesday attendance is essential as this is our payday )
Ensuring payroll is accurate and compliant with relevant awards and legislation
Accounts payable processing including data entry, PO matching, resolving discrepancies and reconciling
Accounts receivable follow-up and credit management
Maintaining accurate, well‑organised financial records and other tasks as required
Payroll is processed using Employment Hero and accounts are processed using Xero and Service M8 (experience in these systems is advantageous).
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Proven experience of a minimum of 2-3 years in payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable
Excellent knowledge of payroll compliance and modern awards
Exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload independently
Reliability and consistency
Professional handling of confidential information
Excellent written and verbal communication with a collaborative working style
Approximately 15-20 hours per week, spread across the week
Tuesday is a mandatory workday
Flexibility available on other days
