State government organisation is seeking a Project Officer for an ASAP start.

**Your new role**
You will be working with the project manager to plan, monitor and evaluate the project against objectives including identifying risks and issues. You will also provide administrative support and attend meetings with stakeholders, suppliers and other external groups as well as coordinating stakeholder events such as testing and training.
You will prepare, update, publish and distribute project documentation to key stakeholders and will manage competing deadlines across multiple stakeholders. You will respond to enquiries from stakeholders, suppliers and external agencies and be reviewing business processes, uncovering requirements, and identifying areas for improvement. You will be scheduling tasks, managing resources and monitoring quality to help ensure the timely delivery of projects.

- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Display a 'can-do' attitude and contribute to developing a culture of excellence
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Competent research, written and communication skills, including the ability to consult and liaise between business and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and within a small team on own initiative
- ITIL knowledge is desirable
- An appreciation of business analysis or a related field
