Project Manager – Illuminate '28 Program
UNSW College invites an experienced Project Manager to lead the Illuminate '28 Program, a College‐wide initiative to illuminate collective progress. In this role you will partner with cross‐functional stakeholders across UNSW College and the broader UNSW community to design, schedule, and deliver critical program projects within an agile/hybrid environment.
What You Will Do
* Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration – Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders, partners, and program teams.
* Governance & Compliance – Apply governance frameworks, manage program risks, and ensure compliance with College policies.
* Planning & Scheduling – Develop detailed program plans, manage timelines, and coordinate program resources.
* Scope & Change Control – Define program scope, assess change requests, and drive scope approvals.
* Budget & Resource Management – Monitor program budgets, resource allocations, and program financial performance.
* Reporting & Performance Monitoring – Deliver program status reports, insights, and performance monitoring to senior stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
* Proven experience in end‐to‐end project delivery, ideally within education or large, complex organisations.
* Advanced technical capabilities e.g. Microsoft 365, Atlassian suite, or comparable tools.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, confident in working with people at all levels and reconciling diverse perspectives.
* Excellent documentation and reporting capability, able to capture insights and translate them into clear, actionable summaries.
* Adaptability to dynamic environments, with a proactive approach to managing workstreams.
* Advanced communication skills, ensuring concise, clear, and cohesive communication to a range of stakeholder groups.
* Respectful, collaborative, and curious attitude towards continuous improvement.
