Role: Therapeutic Youth Worker (TSIL) Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Location: Bathurst Hourly Rate: From $37.73 per hour Super (Dependant on qualifications & experience) As a Therapeutic Youth Worker, you’ll be a key support for children & young people aged 15 - 18 years who’ve experienced childhood trauma, abuse, or neglect and who are in Supported Independent living to prepare them for independence and transition to long term accommodation. You will be part of a dedicated to team working to ensuring a safe, homelike environment where these young people can thrive, supporting them to learn independent life skills, develop problem solving skills and to build appropriate and positive relationships with others. This is a permanent full time position Monday – Friday 9am-5pm. (Please note: a qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience) A current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate A current driver’s licence Willingness to assist with activities of daily living, including personal care (if required).
