Overview
Our client is one of the largest family farming groups in South Australia and Recent South Wales. They are currently on the lookout for multiple experienced Light Vehicle Motor Mechanics to join their successful team in South Australia. The role will include assisting the workshop with mechanical repairs on all brands of vehicles and machinery. The Motor Mechanic is responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing light vehicles.
Responsibilities
Ensure reactive and preventative maintenance, servicing and repair requirements are met in accordance with maintenance schedules (including oil changes, transmission fluids, air filters, tyre changes etc.)
Identify, test and repair different types of mechanical and electrical failures on vehicle engines, and machinery.
Fault diagnostics and testing parts
Performing repairs and replacing defective worn or parts
Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
Reassembling engines and parts after repair
Qualifications
Experience within a similar role
Qualified mechanic (AQF certificate Ill or equivalent)
At least 3 years of fulltime experience
Have a good eye for detail
Must have intermediate or above computer skills
Demonstrated ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to comply with all OHS policies and procedures.
Be motivated and able to achieve targets
Remuneration
An attractive remuneration will be based upon applicant's experience. Salary of $80,000-$90,000 pa + super
