Job Title
A strategic workforce planner is required to optimize and publish rosters for aged care facilities.
About the Role
Our workforce planning specialists analyze and design rostering strategies that align with organizational goals, comply with business rules, safety protocols, and relevant legislation. There is a strong focus on forecasting to develop capacity plans for the region, producing optimised rosters up to 12 months in advance.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic rostering plans that align with organisational goals.
* Analyze historical data and forecast future staffing needs based on demand patterns, trends, and business requirements to ensure accurate and timely staffing.
* Continuously review and optimise rostering processes to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance staff satisfaction within the designated region.
* Review and manage leave requests and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to rostering and staffing, making data-driven decisions to improve performance.
* Engage with key stakeholders and provide regular updates.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience using workforce management systems, including creating and adjusting staff schedules, managing shift changes, monitoring compliance requirements, and supporting operational teams with roster-related queries.
* A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Data Science, Operations Management, or a related field; relevant certifications are advantageous.
* Experience with rostering and resource planning processes, theories, and methodologies.
* Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and experience applying industrial, regulatory rules, or enterprise agreements within a business.
* High-level prioritisation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to think outside the box and work within multiple/conflicting time constraints.
* Ability to analyse complex data sets and identify trends and patterns.
* Practical experience with rostering or workforce management software and strong verbal and written communication skills.
