Maintenance Planner – Fixed Plant
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner – Fixed Plant to support a mining operation, providing maintenance planning coverage across CHPP and fixed plant assets. This role focuses on building clear, execution ready plans that support safe maintenance delivery and reliable production outcomes.
Working closely with site maintenance and operations teams, you will prepare work packs, plan maintenance activities, and coordinate resources to ensure work is ready for execution across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain maintenance plans for CHPP and fixed plant assets
* Build and manage work orders, job plans, and work packs
* Coordinate labour, materials, and tooling to support execution readiness
* Liaise with supervisors and trades to prioritise and sequence work
* Review maintenance history and defects to inform planning decisions
* Support short term planning and shutdown preparation as required

* Hourly rate dependent on experience plus super, paid weekly
* 6 month contract

About You
* Proven experience in maintenance planning within a mining or heavy industry environment
* SAP experience in a planning environment
* Exposure to CHPP and fixed plant assets
* Strong understanding of maintenance work management processes
* Ability to develop clear, execution ready work packs
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Must have the right to work in Australia
