1 x Permanent full-time at Katoomba, Ryde or Yallah

1 x Permanent full-time at Albury, Broken Hill, Griffith or Wagga Wagga

Package range: $111,798 - $132,585.

About the role

We're seeking world‐class educators to inspire the next generation of Conservation and Land Management students by joining our team of teachers for the following opportunities, with travel required to other campuses.

In this role you will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. You will proudly teach students how to help conserve our ecosystems by preserving and rehabilitating our natural environment. Lead students through the identification of plants and animals, pest species control and ecological restoration techniques while working on Country, and working with a range of stakeholders to restore bushlands and support conversation projects.

Locations
* 1 x permanent full-time at Katoomba, Ryde or Yallah
* 1 x permanent full-time at Albury, Broken Hill, Griffith or Wagga Wagga
Essential Requirements
* Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14 of the Anti‐Discrimination Act of 1977. Candidates selected for an interview must provide Confirmation of Aboriginality documentation at or before interview.
* Appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management, Certificate III On Country Management or an equivalent tertiary qualification in related disciplines.
* Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training, or willingness to undertake a full‐time 14‐week Paid to Learn course.
* A minimum of three (3) years post‐qualification experience relevant to your industry, gained no longer than five (5) years previously.
Highly regarded but not essential

Strong practical and field‐based experience. Skills with chainsaws and/or chemical applications.

Additional Information

Paid to Learn: For candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, there is an option to be paid to learn while transitioning from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14‐week Training and Assessment course.
