**Your key responsibilities include**:
- Conduct onboarding risk checks (CDD), periodical reviews (ODD) and trigger event reviews in accordance with the company's AML/CTF program and the Merchant Underwriting Policy.
- Handling daily operations in accordance with organisational policies and procedures within an agreed SLA.
- Preventing the company from financial loss (due to the credit risk and potential fraudulent merchant's behavior).
- Building the organisational awareness in terms of risk management.
**Your day-to-day responsibilities include**:
- Review allocated cases on a daily basis and ensure their completion within the agreed standards and turnaround times.
- Conducts KYC/AML (CDD and EDD) screening, credit and fraud checks for new merchants.
- Performs Ongoing Due Diligence on existing merchant portfolio.
- Verifies information about ownership structure and Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBO).
- Performs AML and sanctions screenings for entities and individuals, both for new and existing merchants.
- Handles PEP alerts using internal infrastructure and online sources.
- Assures the completeness and correctness of the client documentation in terms of the AML regulations.
- Performs credit checks on new merchants.
- Assigns the proper compliance risk and credit risk level to every merchant.
- Identify, investigate, assess and report on AML/CTF compliance matters, making sure that it complies with the AML/CTF program and Worldline's Merchant Underwriting Policy.
- Handles risk alerts for new and existing merchants.
- Reports every essential risk incident.
- Maintains input or data quality of risk management systems.
- Analyses areas of potential risk to the assets, earning capacity, or success of organisations.
- Gathers risk-related data from internal or external resources to identify merchant's business model.
- Makes operational decisions necessary to assure the quality standards.
- Takes part in meetings with other teams to share knowledge and sharing the information with the team.
- Works closely with other team members and advises or assists colleagues in the daily tasks.

**Signs of success**
- You have a good knowledge and experience of KYC / AML and Credit.
- You proactively identify new AML/CTF and credit risk trends and participate in developing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- You implement, adapt, and maintain a unified risk policy and processes within your own team.
**Skills we can't do without**:
- You have 2-3 years of experience in customer due diligence (KYC, AML and Credit) environment.
- You are fluent in English both spoken and written.
- You are a good communicator and able to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
**Skills we'd like**:
- You hold a degree in commerce/accounting, finance law or other related fields
- Strong analytical skills
- Previous experience with an acquirer or a payment service provider is a solid plus.
- You have a very good understanding of acquirer risks and obligations (AML risk, credit risk, fraud risk, compliance risk, chargeback risk, scheme rules, etc.).
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
