Disability Support Worker Job Description
We are seeking skilled Disability Support Workers to work in a range of community settings within our Rockhampton region.
This is a casual role, available to start as soon as possible.
* Minimum shift engagement is 3 hours, with shifts typically between 3-8 hours in length.
* You will work in disability residential environments - SIL houses and within the community.
* You will assist and support with personal care, daily activities and social support engagement activities.
* Documentation and Reporting – maintain accurate records of participants progress and care plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist clients with physical or intellectual disabilities with daily living tasks.
* Support clients with high-intensity and complex behaviors.
* Document and report client progress and care plans accurately.
Requirements
* Minimum of 6-months experience in supporting clients with physical or intellectual disabilities.
* Experience working with clients who have high-intensity and complex behaviors.
* Possess a valid Police Check (valid within the last 3 years).
* Available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week.
