About the Opportunity
Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking a Fitter Machinist to join our high performing team in Richlands.
Your responsibilities:
* Repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders used in a variety of applications
* Strip, measure, inspect and report on all components
* Cleaning and preparing components
* Assemble and testing of cylinders
* Attend and participate in toolbox talks
* Ensuring a safe and tidy workspace is maintained.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
* Relevant Trade (essential) and welding qualifications (highly desirable)
* Experience stripping and rebuilding cylinders
* Solid understanding of hydraulic cylinder clearances and tolerances
* Understanding of the re-manufacture process including machining and welding
* Attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and work with others
* Experience with fault finding and diagnostics is advantageous.
This position will attract an hourly wage of between $47.00 and $50.00 commensurate with your qualifications, experience and accomplishments.
