About the role
You will implement and manage evidence based/best practice Manual Handling quality management systems across Central Queensland Health, focusing on the environmental risk factors impacting employees, for manual task risk control, to ensure the Health Service actively seeks to minimise the risk and impact of work-related incidents, injuries and illnesses.
The position provides high level advice and support in the application of workplace health and safety so as to assist Central Queensland Health achieve safe, healthy and supportive workplaces and work practice for staff.
About you
* Mandatory possession of an Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy qualification from a registered tertiary institution.
* Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practising certificate is essential.
* While not mandatory, a postgraduate qualification in relevant field would be well regarded.
What we offer
Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
