Are you an experienced Labourer with a background in asphalt looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a reliable and skilled Asphalt Labourer to join our team on a casual basis with full-time hours.
Based out of our Carrington depot, you'll be working on a variety of projects across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual who enjoys varied work, a mix of day and night shifts, and the chance to secure a permanent position with a well-regarded company.
About the Role
As an Asphalt Labourer, you'll be a key part of a crew delivering high-quality paving projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the placement, raking, and compaction of asphalt.
* Operating various hand and power tools.
* Performing general labouring duties on-site.
* Adhering to all site safety procedures and protocols.
* Working a flexible roster, including a mix of day and night shifts, as well as some regional away work.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous asphalt experience is highly regarded.
* A valid Driver's Licence is essential.
* An MR (Medium Rigid) or higher licence is a major advantage.
* Experience operating a Bobcat and/or Roller is highly regarded.
* A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Commitment to safety on all jobs.
