At William Ross, we believe in working together to inspire success and lifelong learning in every student.About The RoleAs the Youth Worker, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Participate as an active member of the Student Support Services team.Develop strong partnerships with families and students who are disengaged from learning, dysregulated, and/or have high levels of social-emotional needs.Develop, implement, and review support programs.Maintain databases and accurate record-keeping in line with school processes.Provide alternative learning and social options.Liaise with students, families, and teachers to promote social-emotional wellbeing for all students.Refer students to the appropriate school support staff or external personnel as required.In consultation with the Head of Department and/or Guidance Officer, support student programs under the direction of assigned staff.Participate in regular monitoring, observations, and evaluations to promote positive student outcomes.Maintain quality performance in all duties, ensuring adherence to established methods, guidelines, and procedures.Participate in professional development sessions relevant to work programs and expectations.Perform other duties as required, consistent with the responsibilities of the position and as directed by the supervisor.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
