Job Title: Rostering Coordinator
Rostering Coordinators play a crucial role in maintaining effective rostering systems at Residential Care Facilities to ensure adequate staff are available to provide care and support to residents. This stable, Monday-to-Friday role involves managing shift gaps, leave changes, and urgent roster adjustments while ensuring rosters comply with staffing availability and organisational requirements.
The Rostering Coordinator is responsible for monitoring financial aspects of scheduling, identifying opportunities to reduce costs, and collaborating with relevant teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing records. They must also serve as backup for payroll processing and oversee the end-to-end leave management process.
This is a permanent part-time role (0.5 FTE) that requires a strong understanding of the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards, and the Charter of Aged Care Rights. The successful candidate must have demonstrated expertise in organising tasks, managing multiple priorities efficiently, and performing administrative duties with proficiency.
