Lead and Scale a High-Impact Clinical Trials Laboratory
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead a growing clinical trials laboratory, supporting early phase (Phase 1) and Vaccine clinical research.
This role offers the opportunity to build, develop and scale a high-performing laboratory team as the organisation continues to grow rapidly. You will play a key leadership role in ensuring laboratory operations remain efficient, compliant, and audit-ready while supporting cutting-edge clinical research.

What You'll Be Doing
You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinical trials laboratory and drive continuous improvement as the department grows.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and developing a team of laboratory scientists and assistants
* Managing clinical trial sample processing, storage and shipment
* Ensuring compliance with GCP, ALCOA+, IATA and OH&S standards
* Maintaining an audit-ready laboratory environment
* Supporting study start-up and protocol implementation
* Ensuring laboratory readiness for rapidly increasing clinical trial activity
* Managing laboratory resources, equipment and consumables
* Driving process improvements and operational efficiency
* Supporting internal audits and CAPA processes

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a strong people leader, ideally with clinical trials laboratory experience who is comfortable scaling operations as the organisation grows.
* Tertiary qualification in Science or related discipline
* Previous team leadership or laboratory management experience
* Strong knowledge of GCP and regulated laboratory environments
