Responsibilities
* Preparation and review of income tax and FBT returns
* Preparation and review of BAS and IAS
* Support and mentoring of bookkeeping function and team
* Xero setup and training (including COA)
* Bank reconciliations
* Manual journal entries
* Reconciliations and review
* Payroll calculations, review and related administration
This role represents a great opportunity for an experienced Tax Accountant to advance in a fast-growing team with support from highly skilled professionals, while delivering outstanding client service.
Qualifications
About you
* Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration/Management (or related field)
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in Australian public-practice tax and accounting
* Excellent professional communication skills (written and verbal)
* Demonstrated attention to detail
* Strong commitment to customer service, confidentiality and continuous improvement
