**About the opportunity**
The University of Sydney is looking for enthusiastic Peer Learning Facilitators to join the Centre for English Teaching and Learning Hub team. This role is perfect for current undergraduate, postgraduate, or HDR students with at least one year of experience in their degree and a minimum of two years remaining in their studies. A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Must be available for the Assessment Centre between 2 nd - 6 th June
- Must be available for the training 28 th July
- 1 st Aug
- Lead activities: Share your experiences living and studying in Sydney while guiding international students on campus and city tours
- Deliver interactive workshops: Boost international students' communicative confidence and language skills and support them during their studies.
- Contribute to Social Programs: Bring your creative ideas to enhance social programs associated with the workshops and take on paid ad-hoc projects relevant to your role.
- Administrative Tasks: Record workshop attendance, ensure compliance with university policies, and participate in ongoing paid training to stay updated with workshop materials and best practices.
**About you**
- Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable interacting with diverse student cohorts and demonstrating excellent communication abilities.
- Awareness of Student Challenges: Understanding the difficulties faced by both domestic and international students and familiarity with USYD's support services to guide students effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with co-facilitators and contribute positively to the team workplace.
