Key Responsibilities
Reporting & FP&A
* Design and implement a group reporting pack (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, KPI dashboards) tailored to eCom.
* Deliver monthly consolidated P&L/BS/CF with clean workpapers.
* Variance analysis (Budget vs Actual vs LY) with drivers: AOV, conversion, CPA and clear actions.
* Maintain KPI dashboards: sales, gross margin, ROAS, inventory turnover, contribution margin.
* Establish annual budgets and brand/channel reforecasting (DTC & wholesale).
Cashflow & Inventory
* Build rolling cashflow forecasts (13‐week + 12–24m).
* Create weekly inventory funding models aligned to promo/campaign calendars.
Compliance & Controls
* Manage BAS, GST, PAYG, Super; tax provisions and lodgement prep.
* Liaise with external accountants/tax agents/auditors.
* Implement internal controls: expense approvals, refunds, multi‐store stock reconciliation.
* Review supplier costs (freight, packaging, insurance) for competitiveness.
Requirements
* Degree‐qualified in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CA preferred but not essential).
* 5+ years' experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or Senior Accountant (ecommerce mandatory, retail or FMCG).
* Proven ability to create and implement reporting systems in a growing business.
* Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with Xero and ecommerce integrations.
* Hands‐on and detail‐oriented, with the ability to also step back and provide strategic insights.
